My New To Me Fall Finds. New Fall Fashions For Less.

I just love fall weather! It's not too cold and all you need is a coffee, a cozy sweater, jeans and booties. This is the only time of the year that I do any large shopping. I tend to spend most of my winter in leggings and sweaters, so fall is my time to replenish any clothes that I wore out last season. I also make an opportunity to get some fun, trendy pieces to make me smile when there's two feet of snow to shovel. Below are items I found on the second hand market and my must haves for fall going into winter. I will link similar style items you can get now and also the second hand finds that are still available.

Sweaters

I decided to go with some more neutral colors but upgrade the brands and materials. I've heard about Reiss brand as well as Karen Millen. They are more on the high-end of the market, but I thought they would be worth a try. The best way for me to try them out was to find them second hand. I decided to look for them on Thredup and Poshmark (use my code shestheposh for 5 dollars off).  I love that I can easily search by brand, color and the size I'm looking for. I also sorted  low to high on price and found three at an incredible deal. I chose these styles: the cold shoulder, the poncho, and waffle knit. All of these are perfect for fall.

Bottoms

I purchased my first two pairs of Spanx's leggings . I've been wondering whether these are worth the hype. I say yes and no. I love the tummy control but I don't feel like they look like real leather. I was hoping that for the price they would look more like pants rather than athletic gear. I got these on sale but they were still pricy at $70. I basically live in leggings in the winter and plan to put these to the test before I give them my stamp of approval.

Boots

Booties Booties Booties everywhere! I'm pretty sure that's how the song goes. These are my weakness! And when you find them for such amazing prices you can get really carried away. I'm a little embarrassed to say how many boots I own so we'll just say enough. But what I really was missing were ankle boots, I only owned one pair in Navy blue and there are so many more colors out there! I got a fringe pair in beige, and a wedged black pair. I also got some see by chloe boots and these amazing topshop studded pair (see picture below).

Handbags

I've bought a bunch of bags for this fall/winter. Since I don't have a lot of money to blow, I decided to sell three bags of mine to Fashionphile and use some of my handbag savings to purchase these. I had an amazing experience selling my bags. I had bought the three bags from Fashionphile and they offer a six month buyback quote of 70% of the original purchase price. I decided to take advantage of this offer. You also get 10% more if you chose store credit instead of a check. With this offer, I felt comfortable buying two bags that I am only planning on keeping (that you see listed above) for the six months. I'll then use the sell back and use the credit to purchase some spring and summer pieces. These will be so much fun to wear and their cost was minimal since they are no longer "it bags" and I used my credit to purchase. These are bags I lusted over five years ago and now I get to enjoy them for two seasons.

Fall for your fall fashion but there's no need to pay a lot for it. You can still invest in pieces with a low budget. I hope that this gives you inspiration to upgrade your wardrobe but also keep your wallet full. Cause this girl likes her money where she can see, it hanging in her closet and in her wallet!
