Summer Sales! Where to shop.

I love summer, the sun, the fun, the sales! That is right! Now I can do my online shopping outside! I am actually writing this post while I am outside. Summer is my favorite time of year because of the fun in the sun, my birthday and the sales! Here are the sales I'm capitalizing on this summer. I'm going to give you my favorite sale sites as well as tips so you never miss out! So get out your tablet and your sunscreen and lets go shipping!

Favorite sales of the season

Zara Sale

This only happens twice a year and you should never miss it. I use this for myself and also to stock my Poshmark closet. Zara items are always on trend and are great quality! I'm always so impressed. I've had my eye on a few of their Chanel inspired tweed jackets! Now this tip I have is hard but trust me, it will really pay off. Try to wait and not buy the items you want right away. The first round of discounts are around 25% but in the next few weeks they will drop to 50% and then 70%! You can get their shoes for around $10 and hand bags! Clothing for around $20 to $30! You do run the risk of them running out of your size. I do the practice of putting items that I want in my cart. Then I can check on them to see if the stock is running low. I always recommend with Zara that if you love something and can't stop thinking about it, buy it quickly because when it's gone it's gone.

SSENSE

For those designer pieces you have your eye on. This is perfect for seasonal designer trend pieces that you just don't want to buy for full price. For me, I have my eye on some pool slides. Thinking about getting a pair for my birthday as present to myself. Now these items are 50% to 60% off retail. Before I buy designer, I look at it from a reseller point of view. Can I resell them? How much can I get for them? I have a pair of Valentino rock stud slides in my cart that I am trying to decide on. These are retailing for $350 but are on sale in pink for $197 plus $12 shipping. They resale around $200 to $250 used. That would mean if I sold them they could be free! I could wear them this season and sell them if I get bored with them. The price keeps going up on them every year so I have a chance of even making a profit. But I'm still having trouble pulling the trigger on them and I'm not sure why. Probably cause they are rubber slides for $197 and that is on sale. But they are so cute! I may have to take a break from typing while my inner voices fight with each other. "will she get the shoes? Tune into Instagram to find out" My internal voice is always marketing.

Lord and Taylor

This site always has unique items that you can't find other places and their sale prices are very generous. I like to use Shoptagr with these items I have my eye on. Shoptagr is a tool I use to never miss a sale and I will explain all about this in the second half. I just ordered from the sale some new Steve Madden fur mules and Adidas slide-on sneakers. These items are not something I have seen all over Instagram but they are so cute. The Steve Madden slides have a bee print -- I've been totally lusting over the Bee print Gucci Princeton Slides. I own a pair of these Steve Madden mules in white leather and a pair of the black leather loafers. They totally have those Gucci vibes and satisfy my lust for the designer. The Adidas slides look so cute and you don't have to worry about laces. That is totally a look now! Tying your shoes is so grade school. I scored these for $34. I'm hoping I have some pictures for you before I publish. If not, check my Instagram for some modeling shots.

Aldo Accessories
You do not need to adjust your screens you are seeing right $39 dollars!

Chloe Dupes

Look like they are Mui Mui

I'm really loving what Aldo has been doing with their line. They are on trend and the price is amazing. I have my eye on some shoe trend pieces I've been lusting over but not worth the designer price tag. I get to enjoy the trends and not feel guilty about how much I spend, so less internal monologue fighting. I will be featuring some of these finds in my next designer dupes "save that coin" post. Make sure to subscribe so you never miss out.

How to never miss a sale

Sign up for emails. I know this can be annoying but it's a sure fire way to never miss a sale!  Have an email dedicated to this. That way you don't have to worry about it clogging up your personal email.

Sign up for Shoptagr, it's free.

I've been using this for about six months now and absolutely I love it. You simply set up the free account and you'll get a toolbar in the download. Then shop at your favorite stores and pick items you like. Click on the item and then your tool bar. Then select the size, color and when you would like to be notified and you are good to go. They'll also let you know if the item becomes low in stock or when an item comes back in stock. It's like having your own personal shopping assistant that wants to help you spend less money. Did we just become best friends? I think so!

Follow some YouTube influencers

I have a few channels that I like to follow on YouTube to get some tips on saving money and how to find the right sales. It helps you to learn new strategies as well as new sites. YouTube helped me find the site Shoptagr as well as SSENSE and Fashionphile. They pass on their knowledge that they learned and now I can pass it on to you. Sharing is caring! And now it's only a click away. Here are some of my personal favorites: Freddy My Love MelSoldera Chase Amie
