Designer Dupes! Save that Coin!

I love designer items but not the price tag. I do love to save that coin! Here are my favorite dupes I've purchased to get the style for less. I'll include links for items if they are still available. Also pictured are the designer items and the links for them. Some of the photos are from Pinterest which I have linked for you as well. First category is shoes. Now for me, I do have a small designer shoe collection, but all of these items were purchased preloved. I find it really hard to pay more than $500 on shoes that just touch the ground and get dirty. I just can't justify it. So I do try to get them used and or find a great dupe. I'm so in love with this trend. I just think it makes every outfit instantly look high fashion. I love the look but I just cant spend $1,000 on a pair of shoes. I mean their job is to walk on dirt and we all know that everybody poops and poop is everywhere. Seriously, I watched this Dr. Oz show and they tested people's things like shoes, cellphones, handbags, and they found poop on everything! Totally scared me! Here I was only worried about the sh&t I could see and now I got to worry about microscopic sh&t! But I digress. These dupes I found are from Steve Madden and they're made from real leather! They look amazing and are really comfortable! Look at these two pics, soooo hard to tell which is which!

I so have been drooling over the rockstud pumps for years but I just can't pull the trigger.  $1000 is too much money for shoes. So when I saw they came out with these rubber sandals I thought awesome, something I can afford! I mean, they're made of rubber, how much can they cost? $362! I know, I will wait for you to pick your mouth off the floor. Don't worry your girl found something amazing! I just was doing my normal Amazon fun only-add-to-wishlist-shopping, when this came up as something I would like. These only cost $20.99 and I got prime shipping. The reviews were insanely good on these so I snatched them up and I have to say they were right. I wasn't expecting the studs to be so good. I mean the studs are metal not plastic, and they have a good weight to them.  $20 well spent.

The Deauville Tote wow!  This you have seen all over Instagram. It's a large canvas tote with the signature leather wrapped chain that Chanel is known for. I just love this style but not the high price tag of over $2,000. I just can't bring myself to even think about spending that kind of coin on something that is more than my husband and our first cars combined. So I found a fun alternative on Poshmark. Someone selling their VIP Chanel gift tote from the beauty brand. I got this for just $65. It was brand new and great quality. These you can only find from resellers. I just think it'll be a perfect mom bag and beach bag. It looks so chic!

Now designers are totally jumping on this trend which was inspired by vintage pieces so I went straight to the source! Two bags I found at a vintage store on vacation . These were around $12 each!  I love buying vintage because it's better quality, it's one of a kind and I just feel the energy of the beautiful woman who had it before me.

Doesn't this just look so chic!! Drool Drool!  I just love how the back of the earring is part of the look. It blew my mind when it came out. It's the mullet of the jewelry world. Business in the front, party in the back. These retail for around $500, depending on the details to them. I found the ones below at a Kate Spade outlet store. They have a similar vibe for only $30.

The logo trend is blowing up and has taken to t-shirts. When I saw this I thought, wow maybe I can get myself something Gucci. Then you see that it is over $400! For a t-shirt people! That is nuts! Could you imagine how devastated you would be to stain it? I would have to wear a full body bib when I ate anything! I am such a klutz. I found a great alternative in the Ellandemm brand. Not only are they fun, cute tees but they are incredibly soft.

Chloe Sunglasses

I'm sorry but there's something that I just love about big sunglasses. I mean huge, ridiculously high fashion sunnies! Chloe has some amazing options for these that have been on my wishlist for a while. I've been hoping to score a pair second hand. When I saw these heart shaped Chloe sunglasses I was like yaassss. I looked them up and I was like noooooo! They are over $400! That is nuts! I just can't! I'm going to have to stick to my Ray-Bans which are amazing and affordable. I was totally stalking these sunglasses all over the web, when I came a crossed an instagram post that had these great sunglasses from nordstrom for only $14. I said ok, for $14, I'll risk it. They came in just three days, free shipping and they are amazing!  Please note this does not come with a case but it was wrapped very well. (I didn't expect a case at this price point) The quality is really good. I've spent more on anthropology sunglasses and they felt cheap and flimsy. I have a feeling I will be wearing these all summer long, so I apologize to those that follow me on Instagram. There will be some heart pun posts.
