5 ways to be more confident.

Here are my tips to help you be less hard on yourself. It's time to strut our stuff and feel our true beauty both inside and out! A confidence boost is something that looks great on everyone. Here are my five tips to ensure that your confidence grows.

1.  Doing something you are good at.

I'm not saying change careers, I'm saying have a hobby. Make sure it's something you enjoy and you're good at. Then share that with other like-minded people. Maybe you start a fashion blog like me. This was something I always wanted to do. Sharing my passion with my friends and others around the world is just so neat. For me, I love helping other woman feel so good about themselves. I'm that friend you take shopping when you have an event to go to and you're clueless. Don't worry, you will say yes to the dress and not have it cost your shirt either. Now that I'm sharing this passion, I'm meeting some incredible people from all over the world. It just gives me a purpose other than my job and family. When you're good at something and it's appreciated, you give off confidence and it becomes contagious.

2. Making time for your Friends.

I know we all feel like they're aren't enough hours in the day. We mean to make plans. Oh we will just call them tomorrow. Hang out with your friends. Make plans today. Being with the ones that know you best and accept you for you will give you all the confidence in the world. "To be loved and be loved in return" is all anyone of us really want.  Thank you Moulin Rouge. Your friends will remind you that you used to be fun, cool and just a little dumb. Ah I remember now, the reverse Pimps and Ho's party. You see the guys were the ho's and the girls were the pimps but then Father Stark crashed the party. Priests have a way of making things a little awkward. Ah, memories.  But that was such a fun night and thinking of the people I was with brought a smile to my face. I use to be pretty cool my friends. So pick up the phone, computer, drone, iPad, smart watch, alexa, google home, you know all that stuff that is suppose to make our lives more connected.  Connect with your friends and maybe, dare I say it, be cool again.

3. Helping someone achieve a goal

This doesn't mean you hold their hand through what they are trying to do, it means you cheer them on! Always take time to celebrate other people's accomplishments and dreams. My favorite way to do this is to look on Instagram and my friends Facebook pages. I love my reselling community, I've met some really great people on there. When I see someone post an accomplishment, I'm the first to like and comment. Also, with my friends who are starting a new business venture, it's sooooo hard to put yourself out there and it's something I admire. My brother has a YouTube channel and he totally consults me and lets me help him with the content. Being a small part of someones success and dreams is inspiring, and makes you feel so good inside. I know they say you should do things without out getting something back, but when you are a part of a goal and dream you get so much more in return. You will feel so good about what you've done and the confidence will show in your own ventures.

4. Stop weighing yourself.

The numbers will drive you mad! They go up, they go down. Focus on creating a healthy routine instead. Pick work out days and schedule it.  Also have some healthier meals planned. I love using HelloFresh and their farm fresh organic products. The recipes are easy to follow and they come straight to my door.  When you take care of yourself, you'll feel good and feeling good just makes you more confident.

5.  Having Money saved for retirement.
  1. It is nice to have a pretty bag but I want one that also has money in it!

It wasn't until recently, that I started taking financial planning seriously. A few years back, my husband and I started meeting with a financial planner that some of my friends use and it's like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders. Were in our 30's now and we have a son. The last thing that we want him to worry about is taking care of us when we're in our Golden Years. Personally, I want that retirement you see on TV. You know, the one where the old married couple is traveling the world. Not the one where they're trying to convince you to sell your home to them- it's called a reverse mortgage, don't do it. I can't tell you the relief of having that mapped out, a plan put in place that we don't even have to think about. The money just comes out every month. I know it seems scary but talk to a professional, because tomorrow is only a day away. Knowing that your family and you are going to be ok will give you confidence about your today and tomorrow. You will also feel less guilt about buying those shoes that you always wanted or going on your dream vacation. We only get this one life so we should live it.

Now go out, strut and show off your new confidence outfit! When you're sure of yourself and feel good, others will see and feel it too. Cause you rock! #getyourchictogether.
