Valentine's Day Crafts

Love Sign and Floral Heart Wreath. 

Love Sign

What you will need is a flat wood surface, wood tacks, and string.  I got my supplies at Hobby Lobby and they had a sign with planks ready for crafting. You can also totally make your own out of an old pallet. 

Use you string to spell out the word you would like. I chose love for my sign since it is almost Valentine's Day. 

Make sure not to cut your string because you will need the extra length to adjust your letters to your liking. 

Now start adding you tacks but do not put them in all the way so you will be able to move your string around to adjust your letters. Wrap your string around your tack.

I put my tacks where the letters need more shape. Once complete stand it up on it's side and check your letter and adjust where needed. 

I decided to take a tack out of my "e" letter. Once you are sure you love your placement hammer the tacks down and then you are done!

Heart Wire Wreath. 

You will need a wire framed heart, silk flowers, wire cutters, and a glue gun. I got all of my supplies at Hobby Lobby. You can find all of these items at any craft store. 

Start cutting your florals with your wire cutters. I choose these flowers because I loved the greenery with it and planned to use it in my craft. 

Start playing with your design and figure out your arrangement. I prefer to bend the stems around the wire to make it easier to glue and arrange. 

Start at the top center and work your way down each side.

Once you have your arrangement to your liking glue down each piece. 

Put you wreath up right to check that everything is glued down properly. Glue anything that is still  lose. 

Now it is time to hang! Make sure to tie a loop of string or wire around your wreath for easy hanging. Now pour yourself a glass of wine, hot tea or coffee! You did it! You are the Posh!
