Unique Valentines Day Gifts

Love Sign

Here are some ideas for those you love this Valentines Day. My husband and I have never been ones to make a big deal of this holiday; however we do give each other small gifts.

Idea for him fun socks! My husband has to dress more formal for work but his socks are his way to express his own personal style. Which is t-shirt, jeans and video games. But aren't we all just adults who secretly wish they were little kids again? Here is a unique take on this gift. Wrap it up with style by rolling the socks and adding a heart sticker. It looks like a box of chocolates! I found my supplies at Target. Those Mario video game socks are located in the Video game isle in your local target! Such a cute and fun gift!

A gift for her that  I think is such a sweet idea is personalized jewelry. Pick a date or a place or something you say to each other. I love this idea because no one else will have it. My husband got me this bangle which has the date of our son's birth. Not only does it look good but every time I look at it , I am reminded of the beautiful life we brought into the world.

Next gift I think is the best of them all is to put your money together and take a small trip. My husband and I have a work conference in Orlando. We have arranged our schedules and found ourselves a free day to go to the park! We will be there kid free and have invited just our inner child. This is the most magical place on earth after all! How can you get away for a night or a day? I know we all say we don't have the money, but think. What if you just didn't give each other physical gifts and just put the money together? What could you do? Instead of the flowers and the dinner, lets trade it for the mouse ears and the memories that will last a life time. It is important to as we grow older especially in our relationships that you take time to just be together. So get a piggy bank and start saving.

I will be blogging and instagram our trip. Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss it. Thanks again for reading! Love to hear about the gifts you have given your loved ones!
