My First Blog Post

Since this is my first entry I figure I would start the New Year off with my goals/resolutions for the year. Writing these down will give life and accountability to my hopes in 2018. I hope you comment below with what you are going to accomplish in the new year. This isn’t a wish list this is a do list.

I. Start a Blog
I really want to start a blog that empowers women. I want to inspire, coach, and really get you thinking about what your passions are. What you would like to be doing. I personally have always looked up to woman entrepreneurs and influencers and think I wish I could do that. Wait why can’t I do that? No more maybe. It starts now. Why not me? So ask yourself the same. Why not you?

II Saving/Investing

Saving and Investing more. I have a retirement account and savings but have not really put the 15% away that I should. So this year I am getting serious about saving for the future. I opened up an Acorn and Robinhood account and started investing in stocks. Though the amount is small, the goal is to increase the amount a little each month. Future 70s me will be thankful . One less thing to worry about.

III Increase my Online Poshmark Sales.

Working on getting my total sales and profit up in my postmark store to 2,000 a month. Poshmark is an online Sales app that is the fast and easiest way to setup and online store or just sell your great condition unused fashion items. Right now I have had a steady 400 to 450 in total Monthly sales. I am starting to figure out what products sale the best and give me the most profit. I Will share my success and Failures in future posts with you. I have a spread sheet to track my progress each month and I am not taking any of the profit of my sales for this year. Putting everything back in to the business to keep my personal cost down. My Poshmark Closet.

IV Body Acceptance

Instead of losing weight I just want to just get better at my yoga practice. This year I want to be able to do a head stand without the wall and be able to do crow. Regardless of the numbers on the scale or around my waist I feel these fitness accomplishments will make me proud of the body my 34 year old self now carries

V Drink More Water.

This seems like a no brainer and the easiest of all the goals but I feel like it will be the hardest. I am one that likes her coffee and tea. I know I don’t drink enough water. The benefits are amazing though! Great skin, weight-loss and over all health. I plan to drink a glass of water before every meal. I am not going to skimp on the coffee but I will just add a glass of water before every meal!
